Japanese Freight Co. To Pay $2.3M Over Price-Fixing Plot

Law360, Washington (January 25, 2013, 2:35 PM EST) -- Japanese freight forwarder Yamato Global Logistics Japan Co. Ltd. pled guilty in Washington federal court Friday to participating in a massive freight fee price-fixing scam affecting millions of dollars of air cargo shipments from Japan to the U.S. and will pay more than $2.3 million in criminal fines.
