SAP Asks Fed Circ. To Lift Ban On Software Servicing

Law360, Washington (February 4, 2013, 3:45 PM EST) -- SAP America Inc. urged a Federal Circuit panel on Monday to lift an injunction barring it from serving customers who purchased pricing software that infringed a Versata Software Inc. patent, claiming the royalties it was ordered to pay covered the ongoing maintenance of the products.
