Wendy's Targeted In Battle Over Trans Fat

Law360 (November 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- As health officials continue to declare war against artery-clogging trans fat, Wendy's International Inc. has been hit with a proposed class action accusing the company of misleading customers about levels of the hazardous fatty acid in its food.

Catherine Fitch filed a complaint against Wendy's on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, charging the company with deliberately lying about the purported healthiness of its fried food.
