New Pa. High Court Rules Clarify Oral Argument Standards

Law360, Philadelphia (January 28, 2013, 5:43 PM EST) -- New Pennsylvania Supreme Court rules that include clarifying guidelines for oral argument in front of the court and expanding the amount of time justices have to circulate an allocatur report to their colleagues are scheduled to go into effect in early February.

The rules, which were announced earlier in January, also include the removal of obsolete notification requirements regarding the progress of certain matters circulated among the court and standardized procedures for the entry of orders made by the entire court.
