US, Jordan Agree On Labor Conditions, Foreign Investment

Law360, New York (January 29, 2013, 5:47 PM EST) -- U.S. trade officials said Monday that they had reached a series of agreements with Jordan aimed at promoting foreign investment, information technology growth, and improved labor rights and worker conditions.

U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk said the U.S. and Jordan had agreed to joint principles for international investment, joint principles for information and communication technology services, and an implementation plan related to working and living conditions of workers.
