GOP Sen. Floats Bills To Curb Fossil Fuel, GHG Regs

Law360, New York (January 29, 2013, 7:25 PM EST) -- The top Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on Monday floated a suite of bills aimed at loosening regulations on the oil industry and preventing the Obama administration from setting new greenhouse gas standards.

Sen. David Vitter, R-La., is introducing five energy-related bills this week in what he called an effort to jumpstart domestic energy production and chip away at the national debt.
