Pa. Rep. Seeks Release Obligations On Natural Gas Lessees

Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 2:10 PM EST) -- Pennsylvania state Rep. Tina Pickett introduced legislation Tuesday aimed at formalizing for natural gas lessees and landowners the process of turning over oil and gas leases by requiring timely disclosures by the parties involved.

House Bill 402 would require natural gas lessees to provide landowners with releases at least 30 days before the termination or cancellation of their leases.
