FTC Must Demand 'Do Not Track' Legislation: Consumer Group

Law360, Chicago (January 31, 2013, 1:59 PM EST) -- Consumer Watchdog implored the Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday to push Congress to pass Do Not Track online privacy legislation, saying the self-regulatory effort to design online tracking standards on which the agency has relied is "virtually dead in the water."
