Fortune 500 Cos. Want Cybersecurity Legislation, Sen. Says

Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 6:25 PM EST) -- Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., said Wednesday that many of the 500 largest U.S. companies supported the creation of voluntary corporate cybersecurity standards, contradicting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's long-standing position that such federal legislation would harm businesses and should be scrapped.
