No Green Light Yet, But €1.5B Pipeline Looking For Steel

Law360, New York (February 1, 2013, 6:55 PM EST) -- Sponsors of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline are still five months from finding out whether it will actually be built, but Friday they put out a call for steel for the 500-mile gas link between the Caspian Sea and European energy markets.

The €1.5 billion ($2.05 billion) project, is one of two possible export routes to bring gas from an expansion of the Shah Deniz gas field in Azerbaijan-controlled waters, where BP PLC, Total SA and Statoil ASA are drilling. A final decision is expected in June....
