Petraia Maritime Sentenced In Waste Oil Case

Law360, New York (November 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has hit Petraia Maritime Ltd. with a $525,000 fine and two years of probation for the company's May 2007 conviction on three counts of failing to maintain accurate records of discharges of waste oil and bilge that a vessel Petraia allegedly owned and operated illegally dumped into the sea.
