Fla. Bills Would Create Incentives For Natural Gas Vehicles

Law360, Miami (February 4, 2013, 7:38 PM EST) -- Two Florida legislators on Thursday filed parallel bills that would implement a progressive tax structure for natural gas fuels and provide incentives for buying natural gas-fueled vehicles and developing natural gas refueling stations.

Sen. Wilton Simpson, R-Trilby, and Rep. Lake Ray, R-Jacksonville, filed S.B. 560 and H.B. 579, called the Florida Natural Gas Vehicle Act, to encourage the development of natural gas to fuel vehicles throughout the state.
