Headland Invests In Asian Snack Maker As Sector Surges

Law360, New York (February 6, 2013, 3:15 PM EST) -- Hong Kong private equity firm Headland Capital Partners Ltd. has taken a minority stake in one of Malaysia's top snack food companies alongside its founding family, the firm said Wednesday, marking the latest deal in a burgeoning Asian food and beverage sector.

Neither Headland nor the company, Mamee-Double Decker Bhd., disclosed a purchase price, though the firm typically pours between $40 million and $150 million into its investments.
