FERC Denies ATC's Bid For Half Of Xcel's $445M Minn. Line

Law360, New York (February 6, 2013, 7:22 PM EST) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Monday shot down American Transmission Co. LLC’s bid for half-ownership with Xcel Energy Inc. of a planned 345-kilovolt electrical transmission line in Minnesota, rejecting arguments that the segment is part of a larger project in which ATC is involved.
