Obama Names USPTO, DOJ Attys To Fed. Circ. Bench

Law360, New York (February 7, 2013, 4:27 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama moved Thursday to fill two vacancies on the Federal Circuit by nominating a deputy general counsel from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a deputy director of commercial litigation from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Obama nominated longtime patent attorney Raymond T. Chen to replace Circuit Judge Richard Linn, who retired in October, and DOJ trial veteran Todd M. Hughes to replace Circuit Judge William Curtis Bryson, who stepped aside last month.
