UPMC Settles NLRB Complaint Over Union-Busting Claims

Law360, Philadelphia (February 7, 2013, 5:31 PM EST) -- The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center agreed Thursday to amend policies designed to prevent employees from forming a union as part of a settlement putting to rest more than 80 alleged violations of federal labor laws outlined in a National Labor Relations Board complaint issued in December.
