4th Circ. Denies Vitol's Bid For $9M In Oil Spill Row

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 8:36 PM EST) -- The Fourth Circuit on Friday rejected Vitol SA's bid to recover $9 million from a pair of shipping companies for an oil spill in Estonian waters allegedly caused by a shoddy vessel leased from Capri Marine Ltd., ruling that the two firms were not Capri's corporate alter egos.
