Insurer Sues Deepwater Cleanup Cos. Over Worker Coverage

Law360, New York (February 13, 2013, 7:29 PM EST) -- First Mercury Insurance Co. lodged a complaint Wednesday claiming that it had no duty to defend Deepwater Horizon cleanup contractors facing chemical exposure allegations from former employees, arguing that a policy exclusion frees it from covering claims for physical injury from hazardous materials.
