Reynolds Wrap Sues Rival Using 'Identical' Packaging

Law360, New York (February 19, 2013, 7:14 PM EST) -- The makers of Reynolds Wrap sued rival aluminum foil manufacturer Handi-Foil Corp. for trademark infringement on Friday in Virginia, alleging Handi-Foil's packaging is “nearly identical” to its own.

Two different Handi-Foil products are sold in packaging that uses colors, fonts, graphics and other elements that mirror the look and feel of Reynolds Wrap branded products, Reynolds Consumer Products Inc.'s lawsuit said.
