Shell Makes Case For Beaufort Sea Exploratory Wells

Law360 (December 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Royal Dutch Shell PLC argued Tuesday that it should be allowed to go ahead with plans to drill up to 12 exploratory oil wells in Alaska's Beaufort Sea.

In oral argument before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Shell also said that an injunction was unnecessary while the court considers the merits of the case.
