In Turnaround, Fla. Gov. Agrees To Medicaid Expansion

Law360, Miami (February 20, 2013, 10:08 PM EST) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who has been an outspoken critic of the president's health reform law, changed course Wednesday, announcing he would support a limited, three-year Medicaid expansion with federal funding.

In his long-awaited decision on optional Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act, the governor said he supported a limited expansion of the program in the state for the three years that the federal government has pledged 100 percent funding.
