Boies Schiller Wants Chiquita Plaintiff-Poaching Suit Tossed

Law360, Miami (February 20, 2013, 6:02 PM EST) -- Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP moved to dismiss a suit in Florida federal court Tuesday, saying an attorney's antitrust claims alleging it deceptively took his clients in a multidistrict litigation against Chiquita Brands International Inc. and blocked new clients are unripe and that the court lacks jurisdiction.

Boies Schiller said the complaint, brought by plaintiffs' attorney Paul Wolf on behalf of himself and 98 of his clients he says were duped into signing their power of attorney over to the firm, does not state a claim...
