Enviros Sue Dominion Energy Over Mass. Plant Pollution

Law360, New York (February 22, 2013, 7:28 PM EST) -- Three environmental groups on Friday accused a Dominion Energy unit of violating the Clean Air Act at one of New England’s largest fossil fuel-powered stations by not meeting standards for acid rain and carbon dioxide monitoring, among other actions.

Dominion Energy Brayton Point LLC has violated monitoring requirements and limitations on opacity emissions, as well as monitoring requirements for acid rain, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide at its Brayton Point Station, according to plaintiffs Conservation Law Foundation, Clean Water Action and Toxics Action Center....
