Home Depot Loses Bid To Toss Racial Bias Suit

Law360, New York (December 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Mississippi federal court has partially denied Home Depot USA Inc.'s bid for summary judgment in one of a handful of discrimination cases that accuse the home improvement chain of racial bias and retaliatory action.

On Wednesday, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi sided in part with plaintiff Greg Luckett, allowing the claims that he experienced employment discrimination and backlash for reporting such behavior to survive to trial.
