NLRB Takes On Fewer Cases: Report

Law360 (December 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- An annual report issued by the National Labor Relations Board indicates that the agency took in slightly fewer cases this fiscal year, and conducted significantly fewer initial union representation elections.

NLRB General Counsel Ronald Meisburg released a Summary of Operations for Fiscal Year 2007 on Wednesday, in a memo to employees which was released to the public. The memo revealed that the total number of cases the agency took in during fiscal year 2007 was down 4.7% from last year.
