EU Resumes Investigation Of IBM, Telelogic Merger

Law360, New York (December 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- After a brief hiatus, the European Commission has resumed its antitrust investigation into IBM Inc.'s planned $745 million acquisition of Swedish software company Telelogic AB, an IBM representative said on Monday.

The commission had put the investigation on hold on Nov. 15 to give the companies time to provide more information about the proposed merger, and resumed it on Dec. 3.
