Labor Leaders Demand A Fully Staffed NLRB

Law360, New York (February 27, 2013, 8:26 PM EST) -- Labor leaders called on President Barack Obama on Tuesday to nominate a full complement of five members — including two Republicans — to the National Labor Relations Board and vowed to hold Senators from either party accountable if they stood in the way of getting those nominees confirmed.

The AFL-CIO executive council, which represents 57 affiliate unions, adopted a policy statement at a meeting in Florida saying that the labor movement had to mobilize and demand action to get NLRB fully stocked and functioning.
