Pa. Lawmaker Pushes For 2-Year Budget Cycle

Mike Brubaker reintroduced legislation Wednesday to establish a two-year budget cycle and encourage long-range planning among state agencies and other entities that receive state appropriations with the aim of creating a more efficient and productive state government.

Senate Bill 598 seeks to amend the Pennsylvania Constitution allowing for the biennial, or two-year, budget cycle.
