Travel Sites Win Hotel Tax Fight In Fla. Appeals Court

Law360, Miami (February 28, 2013, 8:40 PM EST) -- A group of online travel companies won their battle with several Florida counties Thursday as a state appellate court upheld a lower court's ruling that the state's bed tax applies only to the hotel room rate and not additional compensation kept by the booking websites.
