Truckers Can’t Lose Unemployment For Bad Driving: NJ Court

Law360, New York (February 28, 2013, 3:36 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Thursday backed a state Department of Labor ruling that poor driving records don't bar uninsured truck drivers from receiving unemployment benefits, saying prior traffic violations that are unrelated to a driver's employment shouldn't be factored into eligibility decisions.
