Va. High Court Rules State Bar Can Regulate Atty Blog

Law360, New York (February 28, 2013, 8:33 PM EST) -- The Virginia Supreme Court ruled Thursday that blog posts by a Hunter & Lipton PC partner qualified as potentially misleading advertising, which the Virginia State Bar could regulate by requiring disclaimers, but added that the blog posts themselves don’t violate client confidentiality.
