PPG Says DEP Order Trumps Allegheny River Pollution Suit

Law360, New York (March 4, 2013, 4:52 PM EST) -- Industrial glass and chemicals supplier PPG Industries Inc. accused environmental groups Thursday of "inappropriately" attempting to circumvent the authority of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection by launching a suit accusing the company of illegally discharging arsenic, lead, mercury and other pollutants into the Allegheny River.
