FBI Raids Offices Of Scruggs’ Lawyer

Law360, New York (December 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation has raided the offices of a Mississippi attorney who is defending plaintiffs’ lawyer Richard “Dickie” Scruggs in a suit alleging he bribed a state court judge while working on a case on behalf of Hurricane Katrina victims.

The offices of Joey Langston were investigated Monday after the FBI executed a search warrant, FBI spokesperson Deborah Madden said.

Calls to Langston Law Firm PC went unanswered on Monday. The firm’s Web site was also unavailable on Monday.
