Dow Gets $318M More In Settlement Over Axed Petrochem JV

Law360, Los Angeles (March 4, 2013, 4:02 PM EST) -- Dow Chemical Co. will get an additional $318 million from Kuwait's state-owned petrochemical company for canceling a planned plastics joint venture just days before it was set to launch in 2008, Dow said Monday, announcing a final arbitration award that closes a five-year fight.
