Vague Settlement Offers Will Be Punished, 7th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (March 4, 2013, 9:20 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit on Monday reversed a district court’s decision to deny attorneys’ fees to a former Prudential Pizza Inc. worker who agreed to settle her sex discrimination lawsuit against the company, ruling that Prudential Pizza’s ambiguous settlement offer should have clearly stated that attorneys’ fees were not included.
