Glencore Sets New April Deadline To Close Xstrata Tie-Up

Law360, New York (March 5, 2013, 12:05 PM EST) -- After announcing last week that it would again postpone the deadline for finalizing its blockbuster $34 billion mining merger with Xstrata PLC, Glencore International PLC laid out a new timetable Tuesday that includes an April 16 closing date after addressing competition and other worries.
