FDA Says Hospira Plant Continues To Have Quality Issues

Law360, New York (March 5, 2013, 7:14 PM EST) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has again found quality-control issues at a Hospira Inc. plant in North Carolina, the drugmaker said Tuesday, two years after the agency spotlighted defective equipment and other problems at the facility.

FDA inspectors reported 20 observations to Hospira upon completion of a three-week inspection of its Rocky Mount, N.C., plant on Friday, according to a securities filing by the company. Three of the items were repeat observations, Hospira said.
