House GOP Accuses Obama Of Leaving Sick Uninsured

Law360, New York (March 6, 2013, 8:56 PM EST) -- House Republican leaders including Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, bashed the White House on Tuesday for suspending enrollment in a program meant to provide insurance coverage to people with pre-existing conditions until new rules forcing private insurers to provide such coverage take effect next year.

In a letter to President Barack Obama, the Republicans accused his administration of leaving those with pre-existing conditions out in the cold. They urged the administration to transfer money to the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan program from other Affordable Care Act funds....
