U.S. Inks Import Safety Agreements With China

Law360, New York (December 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. government inked two agreements with China on Tuesday — one covering food and animal feed and another covering drugs and medical devices — that aim to enhance the safety of U.S. imports.

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt signed off on the memoranda Tuesday, ahead of the third session of an economic summit in Beijing.
