In-House Attys Shielded From Raids: Belgian Appeals Court

Law360, New York (March 8, 2013, 7:00 PM EST) -- A Belgian appeals court ruled Tuesday that the country's antitrust watchdog couldn't seize materials from Belgacom Group's in-house counsel, concluding that a European Union decision refusing to extend privilege to communications between in-house counsel and a company's other employees didn't apply to national cases.
