French Co. Loses NRC Appeal Over Md. Reactor Project

Law360, New York (March 11, 2013, 4:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Monday upheld the Atomic Energy Act’s foreign ownership restrictions to deny an appeal by a French-owned nuclear energy company seeking to build a third reactor at a Maryland site, but called for a review of such regulatory restrictions.
