Pa. Lawmaker Eyes 15-Year Limit On Product Liability Suits

Law360, New York (March 12, 2013, 6:35 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania state Rep. Gordon Denlinger, R-Lancaster, on Monday introduced legislation that seeks to place a 15-year limit on the time in which product liability suits can be launched in the state.

HB 911 would require product liability lawsuits seeking civil, wrongful death or economic loss damages to be brought within 15 years of the date the product was delivered to its first owner or lessee, and comes after Denlinger introduced a similar statute of repose in 2011 that failed to advance.
