Diocese Can't Duck Bias Suit Over IVF-Related Firing

Law360, New York (March 12, 2013, 6:20 PM EDT) -- A federal judge refused Monday to dismiss a discrimination suit brought against an Indiana diocese by a Catholic-school teacher who lost her job after undergoing in vitro fertilization treatment, despite the diocese's claim that religious exceptions to Title VII and disability law doomed her case.
