Fla. Lt. Gov. Resigns Amid $300M Gambling Scheme Probe

Jennifer Carroll abruptly resigned her post on the eve of the announcement Wednesday of a multistate investigation into a $300 million illegal gambling center conspiracy run by the Allied Veterans of the World, for whom Carroll had previously been a consultant.
