Patent Reform To Slash Litigation Costs, IPO Says

Law360 (October 10, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Litigation costs will be slashed by a patent reform bill advancing on Capitol Hill, even though the bill has been watered down, says Herbert C. Wamsley, who heads up the influential Intellectual Property Owners Association.

Wamsley, who represents companies across a broad swath of industries, says he is pleased with the compromise version of the bill which is now making its way through the Congress.
