Honda Pulls 180K SUVs, Sedans Over Braking Defect

Law360, New York (March 14, 2013, 12:34 PM EDT) -- Honda Motor Co. Ltd. announced Wednesday that it was recalling more than 180,000 sport utility vehicles and sedans in connection with a potentially dangerous defect that could cause the automobiles’ brakes to automatically engage.

The company is recalling more than 100,000 Honda Pilot and 60,000 Acura MDX SUVs, along with 21,000 Acura RL sedans, all from model year 2005.
