Ropes & Gray Skirts IP Malpractice Suit After Gunn Ruling

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 4:03 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Thursday dismissed a suit alleging patent malpractice against Ropes & Gray LLP and a former attorney, after the firm argued that patent malpractice claims belong in state court in light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision.
