Farm Worker Groups Sue DOL Over Visa Info

Law360 (December 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Growing impatient with the government's lack of response, two farm worker advocacy groups on Thursday sued the U.S. Department of Labor to compel information on employers who use the H-2A agricultural visa program.

United Farm Workers and Farmworker Justice filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, arguing that the agency was hurting U.S. and foreign workers by not releasing the information.
