Side Jobs No Bar To Unemployment Benefits, Pa. Court Says

Law360, Philadelphia (March 15, 2013, 3:12 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania workers laid off from full-time positions may continue to receive unemployment benefits even if they subsequently increase their hours working as self-employed contractors at pre-existing sideline jobs, a state appeals court ruled Friday.
