Carlyle Founders Pulled In $135M Each In 2012

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 1:36 PM EDT) -- The founders of The Carlyle Group LP made about $135 million each last year, including about $57.6 million in dividends, according to a regulatory filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

William Conway, Daniel D'Aniello and David Rubenstein each took home base compensation of about $275,000, plus $57.3 million in dividends from each of their 15.4 percent stakes in the firm, according to the filing.

Dividends were down from about $137.8 million in 2011.
